This website is intended for parents, caregivers, and qualified professionals. It is not designed for children to use independently.
Educational information
Website tools, memberships, question responses, conversations, and resources provide education and support observation and reasoning. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, developmental screening, standardized assessment, emergency help, occupational therapy evaluation or treatment, clinical supervision, or a substitute for individualized professional care. Using the site does not create a therapist-client relationship.
Relevant education is not an individualized plan
Responses may reflect the age, setting, activity, and situation you describe so the education is more relevant. They do not evaluate a child or client, establish goals, create a plan of care, direct treatment, monitor clinical progress, or determine what is appropriate for a specific individual.
Use professional judgment
Occupational Therapists using professional resources remain responsible for determining appropriateness, safety, scope, consent, documentation, referral needs, supervision requirements, and compliance with laws, regulations, licensure requirements, ethics, and employer policies. Professional mentorship is educational and is not employer-provided or required clinical supervision.
When a website is not enough
Contact an appropriate licensed professional for safety concerns, pain, loss or regression of skills, significant developmental concerns, feeding or swallowing difficulty, breathing changes, significant weakness or asymmetry, or any concern that feels urgent. Use local emergency services when immediate help is needed.
Information you submit
Do not submit a child’s or client’s name, full date of birth, address, school, photograph, video, medical record, or other identifying information. Professional questions and mentorship examples must be de-identified.
Early Intervention Circle and attendee materials
Early Intervention OT Mentorship Circle sessions are live and are not recorded. Do not share identifying client, family, employer, or colleague information during the meeting. Session notes, tools, and handouts shared with attendees are private materials and may not be copied, reposted, distributed, or shared outside the enrolled group.
Responsible use
Use the website only for lawful personal or professional educational purposes. Do not attempt to interfere with the site, bypass access limits, share access credentials, copy restricted member content, or use its content to build or train another product or service.
Parent Support membership
The Parent Support Membership is $24 per month or $240 per year and renews automatically until canceled. It includes ongoing access to the Parent Guide while the membership is active. It does not include a personally answered educational question, clarification, or private conversation with Sarah.
Professional offerings
Professional memberships, mentorship, and private reasoning consultations are educational services for qualified occupational therapists. Examples must be de-identified. The treating therapist remains responsible for evaluation, treatment, documentation, clinical decisions, supervision requirements, referrals, and all applicable legal, ethical, licensure, and employer obligations.
Private pay and insurance
Website memberships, educational question reviews, and professional mentorship or reasoning consultations are private-pay educational purchases. Sarah Elaine OT does not provide diagnosis codes, treatment codes, superbills, occupational therapy documentation, or other documentation intended for insurance claims or reimbursement for these offerings.
Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel before the next renewal using the subscription-management information provided with your purchase. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not retroactively refund a completed billing period, except where required by law. Access continues through the paid period associated with the canceled subscription.
Prepaid gifts
Gift memberships are one-time purchases with no automatic renewal. Sarah confirms the recipient and requested delivery date from the checkout details. The recipient’s one-month, three-month, or one-year access begins when they activate the private gift link. Existing membership access is preserved; Sarah arranges any overlapping gift manually. Consultation gifts cover one prepaid 60-minute educational conversation and require Sarah to arrange the booking after activation, with no second payment.
Availability and results
Website access and features may change or occasionally be unavailable. Children and families respond differently, and no particular outcome or timeline is promised.
