Question 1

Is this an evaluation or diagnosis?

Accepted Answer

No. The tools support observation, education, and clinical reasoning. They do not diagnose a child, replace a standardized assessment, or establish an OT plan of care.

Question 2

Does a child need a diagnosis?

Accepted Answer

No. The parent resources begin with everyday participation—what feels difficult and when—not with a diagnosis label.

Question 3

Does the parent membership replace therapy?

Accepted Answer

No. It offers education for understanding routines, interactions, and skill-building. It does not evaluate a child, create a plan of care, provide treatment, or establish a therapist-client relationship. Safety concerns, pain, loss of skills, feeding or swallowing concerns, and significant developmental worries require appropriate professional or medical support.

Question 4

Who is the professional membership for?

Accepted Answer

It is for licensed pediatric and Early Intervention Occupational Therapists who want practical support connecting a functional difficulty to the components worth exploring next.

Question 5

What is included in the Early Intervention OT Mentorship Circle?

Accepted Answer

The $59 monthly membership includes ongoing access to the professional Guide and one live 60-minute group Zoom each month. Every attendee may submit one de-identified question at least two business days before the session, with weekends excluded from the count, and the group’s questions determine the topics Sarah addresses during the hour. The member portal and email provide the question box, deadline, meeting time, and private Zoom link. Session notes and relevant tools may be shared when appropriate. A single-meeting $69 drop-in includes one question submission and that meeting’s access, but not ongoing Guide access.

Question 6

Are Early Intervention Circle meetings recorded?

Accepted Answer

No. Early Intervention OT Mentorship Circle sessions are live and are not recorded. Session notes and relevant tools or handouts may be placed in the private member portal when appropriate. Attendee materials are for enrolled participants only and may not be shared or reposted.

Question 7

Can I enter client information?

Accepted Answer

Do not enter names, dates of birth, addresses, schools, photographs, videos, or other identifying details. Professional examples and mentorship requests must be de-identified.

Question 8

Is professional mentorship clinical supervision?

Accepted Answer

No. It is educational support for pediatric and Early Intervention OTs. The treating therapist remains responsible for evaluation, treatment, documentation, clinical decisions, supervision requirements, referrals, and compliance with applicable laws, ethics, licensure rules, and employer policies.

Question 9

Can I submit these purchases to insurance?

Accepted Answer

These are private-pay educational offerings, not occupational therapy evaluation or treatment. Sarah Elaine OT does not provide diagnosis codes, treatment codes, superbills, or documentation intended for insurance claims or reimbursement.

Question 10

May members share the resources?

Accepted Answer

Parent members may use resources within their household. Individual professional members may share designated caregiver handouts with their own caseload. Membership content may not be resold, uploaded, distributed as a library, or used across an organization without a separate license.
