For pediatric & Early Intervention OTs

Seasoned support,
wherever you work.

Reasoning tools and remote mentorship for the moments when you want another experienced OT beside you—not to take over your clinical responsibility, but to help you slow down, organize the question, and see where to look next.

Why Sarah built this side of the work

The kind of off-site support she would have used as a young therapist.

Early in her career, Sarah wanted the freedom to explore opportunities such as travel therapy—but new therapists were often warned away from those roles because the quality of on-site mentorship could be uncertain.

What was missing was a steady, experienced person to turn to remotely: someone who could provide the feeling of handholding without needing to be employed at the same site, and who could help a therapist think through a de-identified question without replacing supervision or taking responsibility for the case.

After years in occupational therapy, including a decade focused on pediatrics and Early Intervention, Sarah is building the kind of support she would have valued then.

Freedom in where you work should not have to mean feeling alone in how you think.

Why mentorship matters to me.

This will be the introduction to Sarah’s professional offerings: the early-career gap she experienced, the support she wants to provide now, and the boundaries that keep the work educational and ethical.

Early Intervention OT mentorship

You do not have to know everything before you begin.

Sarah had no Early Intervention fieldwork experience in graduate school and did not enter Early Intervention until about seven years into her OT career. She remembers the uncertainty of not knowing what she did not know—especially when working with babies, with a parent present for the entire session, and wondering whether she was noticing the right things.

Once she began, she quickly learned that there were many things she did not need to have mastered before starting. What mattered was having a safe place to ask, reason through what she was seeing, and learn where to look next.

This is the experienced, encouraging hand beside you: a place to build confidence, connect with other OTs doing the same work, and feel more ready to explore Early Intervention if it is the job you are curious about.
